Where can I get a copy of an Alphabet Chart for my language?
Visit FirstVoices.com and select your language from the drop-down list. (If a Community Portal page opens, click Learn Our Language.) Then click Print Alphabet on the Welcome page. You can also learn more about writing systems for B.C. First Nations' Languages on our Orthographies page.
Where can I find a map of B.C. First Nations language groups' locations?
The First Peoples' Council has developed a map showing the areas traditionally and currently occupied by speakers of the First Nations’ languages of British Columbia, with each language group’s own preferred name and spelling. You can find it here.
Are there post-secondary courses available in my language? Can I train to be a language instructor?
