This Toolkit is a collection of resources for language learners, First Nations' communities wanting to develop language revitalization projects, and people looking for information on the First Nations' languages of British Columbia.
It is intended as a starting point, not a comprehensive list of every resource available on B.C. First Nations' languages. If you know of a language resource that could be added, please contact our Language Programs Coordinator.
The Language Toolkit is best viewed with Safari 1.1 or higher on a Mac, or Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher on a PC. To view First Nations' alphabets correctly, you may need to install an appropriate Aboriginal Font.
The Language Toolkit uses B.C. First Nations' preferred names and spellings for their languages. Click here for a key to First Nations' and anglicized versions of the language names.
